Choose an intensive driving course to suit your experience, with manual and automatic packages from 5 to 50 hours.
Flexible course schedules: All our intensive driving courses can be taken semi-intensively, with lessons spread over a longer period, or intensively over 1–2 weeks. Your schedule is agreed around your availability, learning needs and instructor availability.
Test day hours: For all intensive courses, 2–3 hours of your total course hours are reserved for test day, with the exact hours and arrangements agreed with your instructor.
Getting ready for your test
Your instructor will assess your progress and help you prepare for safe, independent driving. Use of the instructor’s car for your test depends on reaching a safe test standard. If you need more preparation, your instructor will explain why and discuss your options. Completing a course does not guarantee test readiness or a pass. See clause 18.5 of our Terms & Conditions.

Test Rescue & Experienced Drivers
5–15 hours for learners who already have driving experience.
Part-Trained Learners
20–35 hours to build on your previous driving lessons.
Beginners
40–50 hours for learners who need a more comprehensive course.

Course suitability and lesson dates will be confirmed before booking. The 7-day and 12-day course schedules are subject to instructor and test availability. The hours you need depend on your experience and progress; passing is not guaranteed.
